The "Frankenstack" Problem

I am an Interaction Designer by trade. I know how to build things.

For years, I treated my creative life like a series of rapid prototypes. Interactive freelance utilities. Multimedia content ecosystems. Niche digital storefronts. I launched a dozen passion projects across different verticals just to see what would stick.

But I discovered a massive UX problem in the "One-Person Business" model.

I was the researcher, the strategist, the producer, and the technical lead. I was trying to run an efficient business using a "Frankenstack" of tools that weren't designed for me.

The result was Technical Debt.

I spent 40 hours a week connecting APIs, patching workflows, and moving data manually. I wasn't building an asset; I was just managing my own inefficiency. The math doesn't work. You cannot scale if your operational latency scales with your revenue.

I realized I didn't need another "productivity hack" or a "hustle mindset." I needed an Operating System.

The Udaller Concept: Absolute Ownership

That is why I founded Udaller.

In the modern world, you are told you are a 'User.' You use software, platforms, and banks. But you don't own them. You are a tenant in their digital kingdom.

The word 'Udaller' comes from the ancient Udal Law of the Orkney and Shetland islands. A Udaller was a sovereign landowner who held their property "by the sun." Unlike the feudal system, the Udaller owed no rent, service, or fealty to any superior. They were absolute owners.

We built this platform for the modern Udaller: The Solopreneur.

You have rejected the feudalism of corporate employment to build your own sovereign estate. You deserve financial tools that treat you like an owner, not a tenant.

The Ecosystem: Software + Documentation

The brand consists of two parts working in tandem:

1. The Application: Udaller One This is the software I am building to be the "Digital Staff." It handles the logic, the compliance, and the cash flow analysis so I can focus on the creative work. It is the machine that runs in the background.

2. The Newsletter: Creator AI Playbook This is the Documentation of that build.

I do not write "Content." I write Operating Manuals. Every Tuesday, I share the exact Systems, Automations, and Blueprints I am deploying into the Udaller software. Whether it's a mental model for pricing or a custom tool for taxes, I send you the manual so you can install it in your own business.

The Team: Human-Led, AI-Amplified

Scott Duncan - Founder of Udaller

This is a cyborg collaboration between two distinct voices:

  • Scott (The Builder): I am the human strategist. I ask the questions, design the systems, and decide what matters. I bring the judgment.

  • Sage (The Analyst): Sage is my AI co-pilot. I built Sage because I am a big-picture thinker who needs data processing power. Sage handles the research, the pattern recognition, and the math. Sage brings the bandwidth.

I use AI to work faster, not to think for me.

The Promise

I am not a "Guru" selling a lifestyle. I am a Builder.

My approach is simple: Treat the business like a Product. Eliminate the inefficiencies, automate the busywork, and ship the result.

If you want to build a machine that runs without you, welcome to the documentation.
